Shoppe Retail Gmail connection
This notice describes the Gmail connection used by The Cell Phone Shoppe’s internal Shoppe Retail reporting tool on thecellphoneshoppe.site.
Information and access
The connection requests the Google account email address and permission to send email from the account authorized by the store administrator. It uses these permissions to identify the connected sender and send store reports to recipients configured by the administrator. This connection does not request permission to read the Gmail inbox.
Storage and sharing
Google authorization tokens are stored on the website server in encrypted form. Report content and recipient addresses are transmitted to Google to deliver the selected emails. Sending history records the recipient, send time and provider result for troubleshooting. Authorized website administrators can manage the connection and its settings.
Disconnecting
An administrator can disconnect the sender in Shoppe Retail Setup. This removes the saved Google refresh token and connected email identity and turns off the daily inventory email schedule. Access can also be revoked through the connected Google account. Disconnecting does not delete previously sent emails or report history.
